How to relieve bone and joint pain at home?

Rheumatic lesions usually manifest themselves with stiffness and pain in the joints and bones. If the symptoms are strong or persist for a long time (eg a few weeks), a doctor’s appointment is necessary. Effective, home remedies for rheumatism:

A warming herbal bath

Drain the sore joints for 20 minutes in it. Repeat the treatment every day until the discomfort subsides. Therapeutic action has a water temperature (should be 35-37° C) and herbal decoctions added to the bath:

from cones and needles – it contains a lot of analgesic essential oils. Put in a pot about 0.5 kg of pine cones and pins (in any proportions). Pour 2 liters of cold water over them and heat on low heat to boil. Boil for 15 minutes, then strain and pour the decoction into the bath;

from oats – abounds in anti-inflammatory saponins. Put about one kilogram of oat straw into a large pot (available at herbal stores). Pour 4 liters of warm water and let stand for 3 hours. Then bring to a boil and cook undercover over low heat for 30 minutes. Trace it, pour the decoction into the bath.

Anti-inflammatory and analgesic compress

For a better effect, keep the affected area warm – put on a compress of foil, wrap it with a blanket or a towel. You can do the wrap:

  • from cabbage leaves – it astringent, reduces pain and swelling. Take 2-3 large cabbage leaves (preferably Italian). Cut out thickened fibers, break the rest with a pestle. Put on the skin. Change 2-3 times a day or use overnight – until the symptoms disappear;
  • mustard – warms the joints and improves their mobility. Grind 2 heaped tablespoons of mustard seeds. Pour them with a liter of warm (but not hot!) Boiled water. Stir. Soak gauze in liquid and put it in a sick place. After a quarter of an hour, rinse the gauze under running water, squeeze it out, soak it in mustard fluid and put it on again for a quarter of an hour. Repeat the action 3-4 times. Lead the treatment daily – until symptoms subside.
